Linda Conley

Project Manager/Senior Designer

Linda’s career experience as a project manager and senior designer has encompassed all phases of interior design, with strength in establishing and maintaining successful long term client relationships built on trust and exceptional performance. From initial design development and planning to construction administration, she has worked closely with clients and user groups in creating distinctive yet functional interior spaces within challenging time frames and budgets. Linda has recently joined Pickett Design Associates after 17 years as an Associate and Senior Project Designer and Manager for the international firm of Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum (HOK) in Tampa and Los Angeles, and several years experience for Montanio (Healthcare) Design Group in the Los Angeles area. She played major roles from inception to completion in prestigious projects such as the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Airport Airside A, University of Florida/Shands Academic Research Building, Santa Ana Police and Administration Building and Holding Facility and MGM Grand Conference Center (Administration and Design Center). This wide variety of project types has given Linda a broad knowledge base and expertise to draw from in her daily practice.

With over 16 years experience in health care design, Linda has developed a fundamental understanding of required healthcare regulations, proficient design skills and attention to the client’s wishes in producing successful and meaningful interior environments for the staff as well as patients. In particular, Linda directed an intensive 9 month effort following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake for the fast-track interior renovation of the Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. This included extensive collaboration with the onsite Contractor and OSHPD Representative, material and furniture manufacturers and various heads of Saint John’s departments. The timeframe on this project was crucial in getting the severely damaged Hospital back up and running. As a California Certified Interior Designer, Linda acquired LEED AP Certification in 2009. She is dedicated to bringing a sustainable and quality design to each of her projects.
