Elaine Gordon brings to Pickett Designs over 10 years of commercial design and hospitality design experience. At Pickett Designs, Elaine is currently project designer for Orthopaedic Hospital Outpatient Medical Center in Los Angeles and Greater El Monte Hospital.
Elaine joined Pickett Designs from the international Interior Design firm of Barry Design Associates and has also worked on projects with Hirsch/Bedner Design Consultants, Bent Severin Associates, Design One Interiors and other well known Los Angeles hospitality firms. Some of Ms. Gordon’s projects include The Westin Kierland Hotel and Resort Scottsdale, AZ, The Balboa Bay Club, Newport Beach, CA The Fairmont Vancouver Airport, Vancouver, B.C., Trump International Hotel and Tower, The Diplomat Convention Center Hollywood, FL, Grand Hyatt New York, and The Claremont Resort and Spa, Oakland, CA.
These and other commercial design projects have afforded Elaine the opportunity to acquire extensive experience in all phases of the work, including programming, design development, construction documents and project installation. Many of her projects required working closely with client representatives, general contractors and purchasing firms to manage schedule, budget and design objectives.
Ms. Gordon received the Professional Certificate in Interior Design at UCLA in 1993 and prior to that earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English at UCLA in 1988.
